What a beauty this would be restored!

Solid old wagon that has never had bodywork done. New York car that has always been garage kept. Lots of spare eng. parts. Rebuilt 371 cu. in. engine ( eng./trans. not in car).Every thing is there just needs to be put back together. Would make a great summer cruiser for someone. Stored in my father's garage so the phone number that appears will be his. A super rare car with only 8,981 produced. 902-824-2674

 For me the ultimate station wagon will always be the 1955 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet Nomad wagons, especially the 1957 model. The 1957 Chevrolet Nomad wagon has always been my dream vintage car. That would be my last classic, period.

George , I'm still kicking my A$$ for selling my 56 Nomad years ago!! I was hoping that Olds. might have had the J2 option [3x2] but see it's a quad carb!! I'd love to have this wagon and have room for it but i'm " trying to be sensible, but car trailer empty!! Road trip????

 Found these, first when it was black and white, then its beside a 55 chevy, I believe at the old Waterdown park location in late 70's after I had it repainted in Imron burgandy & cream white. Nomad is now located up in or near Stayner [ Barrie area] after going thru a few owners after I sold it in Oshawa area. + my 38 Chev street rod & 70 Catalina Rag top!! Boy these bring back memories!! I tried to by Nomad back at Stouffville car show a few years back but got a NO!!

 Pete, thanks for sharing those wonderful vintage car memories with us. I started going to the Waterdown car show in 1978. We probably crossed paths then. All your past time machines look sweet.

The Fiesta is amazing, its got 5 colours to it, 3 in the interior and 2 on the body. What a design expression.

Love the Nomad Pete. I can see why you have regrets for selling it. 

I have regrets for not buying a 56 Nomad in Barrie in 1985. It was Burgundy and white, looked good but had some rust, and I had just enough money to buy it. The choice came down to one between a southern rust free 63 Pontiac Grand Prix, and the Nomad, which was 3500.00 more in 1985 dollars. The Grand Prix won and I bought it and drove it home. But given the difficulty at that time of finding a good tri-five Chevy that I could afford, I always had a tinge of regret afterwards for not buying it.
