Have you seen it ? Pics look pretty nice. White vinyl detracts in my opinion but otherwise super awesome!

One of only 69 M20-equipped Acadian Super Sports built for 1968. I would say the car should stay more or less as it is.

Disk brakes, manual steering, 4-speed, gauges, it sounds like how I would have ordered it.

It had wheel covers on it. They were based on the common 1964 Chevrolet P01 style, then Acadians used them 1967 / 68. The 1968 SS alone used a different center, making them like a needle in a haystack.

Yes. Very cool. It's what a 68 Acadian should be. It's what I'd like to have bought at the time had I beem old enough to be in the market.

I agree, what a beauty. Even if Gary thinks the white top is ugly..................

You gotta love the maple leaf proudly and discreetly displayed all over these cars.
I've got a 66 Acadian and can't stop looking at this car.

A couple questions for the detail knowledgeable on these cars.

I know the details on the 66 Acadians are different than a Chevy II, like body colour firewall and trunk.

Are the inner fenders, rad support and hood hinges supposed to be gloss black?
The rad shroud also appears to be a gloss black or clear coated.
Were the fender and hood hinge bolts painted body colour?
On a Camaro the PDB master cylinder was not as tall (I call them the piggy back style), is this style correct for the car?

Thanks in advance for any insights

Starting with the 1968 models, all Acadians were built State-side for sale exclusively in Canada. Paint is like any 1968 U.S. Nova built at Willow Run, MI. It looks like they left off the bodyside moldings when they repainted it. They don't show the rear trim or the quarter emblems in the photos.

My opinion is the master cylinder is correct for early 4 piston disc brake cars. later single piston cars use the lower fat bowl masters.
Under hood, rad cradle, inner fenders, firewall were all black... of various gloss.
Hinges and hood bolts would be grey phosphate
Not certain on the fender bolts... I believe painted body color.
