It is a joke, i mean an actual joke. The car has modern mag wheels on with tires that are full of air. The brakes are not seized solid at all and it rolls out of the garage with ease. I mean really now, the joke is over.

The youtube video is from early 2019.   The new owners could have easily unlocked the brakes, and put on new wheels / tires to roll it out.   That's what I would have done.

When 65Camino went to see the car it had regular Pontiac wheel covers from 1960, he tried pumping up tires and they would not hold air. The brakes were seized and the wheels would not roll and the engine was also seized. Whoever made the video put a lot of work into getting the car ready to roll it out like that perhaps they even got it out then put it back in for the video.

Yes, I recall that thread very well.  Hopefully the car is getting the care it deserved.  Looked like a nice survivor.

They said on the video they were in a few days before and put wheels and tires on it. As hard as it rolled starting out, Id say the brakes were seized but came unstuck after a bit of pushing. They were still dragging a bit all the way out, the guy steering kept saying he did not have his foot on the brakes.

I seem to remember someone posted this video before?

Would be nice to see an update after the car was cleaned, with a bit of work, a good chance the car started and ran. Engine may have held up good if the car was in a garage that long and the body wasnt rusted.

When I was a teenager I used to hang around an auto wrecker. I went on a trip to remove some scrap vehicles from a rural property that was being prepared for an auction for an estate. There was an old drive shed there with an old suburban parked in it. I remember it had 1959 plates (this was 1973) and had been used as a school vehicle. I got the task of digging a hole under the front axle to hook the winch cable from the tow truck to the axle. The tires were well sunk in the earth and to our amazement the tires still had some air and the wheels all turned. We put dollies under the rear wheels and towed it away. I think that before self adjusting brakes if the brakes needed adjustment you might have a better chance of the wheels turning after sitting for decades.
