The skirts look good on it. Attractive, except for the car show dash plaques and the engine compartment.

Nice car indeed on the outside. Engine compartment looks good to me, but the interior is awful... looks like Santa Claus was the decorator here. Really cheap looking, whether it's real leather or not..

Shouldn't it be gold instead of green? Maybe this year wasn't?
I agree on the simple pattern, generic upholstery job

Have to agree. I didn't want to sound too negative but IMHO the interior is terrible. It looks like they were roughly trying to follow the original design, but there is no pattern sewn into the seat material (brochure illustration below) and the red piping doesn't really add to it.
The trim on the dash/windshield surrounds and steering wheel make me wonder if it had a blue or turquoise interior originally. IMHO it would look better had they stayed with the original interior style/colour. Even red seats/door panels would have been a better way to go.
But there's me armchair quarterbacking on somebody else's car... I do like it overall - '59/'60 GMs are right up there near the top of my favourite styling themes of all time. I'd be happy to drive this no matter what kind of interior it had in it.
