Do you have any lost orders due to COVID ?

I had a Classic Industries order for weather-strip, that went to "Back Ordered" status in January and then disappeared when Classic shut down due to COVID.

W2357 $71.99 US

I ordered a set of eBay and was good to go.

Well those nice people at Classic just decided I must still need the order and sent me the door rubbers Friday.

I guess the cool part (kind of), is that they only charged me 50% of the current sale price of $66 US

$33 + 18 shipping

I keep these just incase that "other" 69 Pontiac ends up in my shop biggrin

Canada Post has misplaced a 35 pound parcel containing a 605 steering box, bracket, steering shaft and universal joint which i sold to a gentleman in Cranbrook BC. Im glad i insured it. Canada Post said flooding in Alberta has delay shipping for 2 weeks. Next call they said COVID and they cant locate it. Tracking says they picked it up in Winnipeg. Customer choice was Canada Post and I used my sons commercial account to expedite it.
anyone else disappointed with Canada Post and their COVID excuse.

Shipping has been slow. Out here if your parcel hits the Dieppe, NB Canada Post depot you are in trouble...

Both Canada Post and USPS are terrible right now . They are very late with deliveries , and are not honoring any claims if your parcel is not delivered in time . You may as well use the cheapest method , as paying more for quicker service is not gonna get there any quicker . The higher volume of online orders is slowing everything down .

Both Canada Post and US Post have lost some of my orders but after a couple of months everything showed up .Bought one part from a CAN.Tire store less than 50 miles from me and paid the shipping only to have it end up in Quebec before it came to me about 3 weeks later. CTC refunded as a gift certificate my shipping costs. Everything is being blamed on Covid but I just don't buy this excuse!

Same experience here; packages have been weeks late via Canada Post.

I have only one issue with a backordered item that I originally ordered in May, keeps getting bumped  and now its into September. Otherwise all has been good, great in fact.

I ordered a fuel line at 11:30 am one morning, at 12:17 pm I got a shipped notice and the next day it was at my door at 5:20 pm, this was from Nova Scotia to Toronto, nice high quality fuel line for my Suburban, made in Canada;

I bought a complete Replacement fuel line kit for my 97 that I never used. Think I paid $200 plus US for it. Should have put it up for sale here

I ordered a couple of knee braces from a FB ad in April.....Tracking shows they have been lost twice so far. The company just sent out a 3rd shipment a few days ago....Not holding my breath.

Rockauto using FedEx has been terrific.
Did a couple of personal items within Canada by Canada Post and transit times are what we've become used to.
Have an order out out of PA which should come USPS/CP so we'll see what happens.

I just received an item out of NJ that took six weeks via USPS and the terrible E-Bay Global Shipping where items take a free ride from one state to another! Usually the vendor states which way the item will be shipped but in this case they did not! If I had known would not have done business with him! Of course the current problems that the USPS are facing will add extra time to all the US mail. Bob.
