1st SD almost finished.

Well we have almost finished the Danube Blue 66 SD

Just a few things left but hard to get parts from South of the line.  Vinyl top will almost finish it, just have on it.  Tried a Chrome shop in Kelowna and good quality job on bumpers.

Been boating all summer because no racing/shows/swap.meets out here on the west coast.

Thinking about getting back in shop soon, still looking for a few parts for the Mist Blue 4 speed 66 SD like wiring and switch for reverse lights on tranny and front bumper.

Will give more updates when get back to work soon.

That is effin' gorgeous, Man! You used the Chevy wood-rim steering wheel; mine has a '67 black plastic one, but came with an American Pontiac (GTO/Tempest) repro wheel, and I'm trying to decide what to do.

I've bought all the emblems and gills to convert it to an SD; I suspect it was a Custom when built. If your's is original, would you mind shooting me some dimensions for the front quarter Sport Deluxe, and passenger dash and trunk Sport Deluxe emblems, plus the "gills" on the leading edge of the rear quarters, and the script by the taillights so I can locate them? I don't want to start drilling using pix I got off the internet.

I'd appreciate any guidance you might offer!

Nice car really. Interior looks neat, engine compartment looks neat. Really a job well done.

Mind if I ask what exhaust header type those are?
