50 YEARS OLD!! Original Survivor Rare canadian made 1970 Pontiac Parisienne 4 DR. HT. 350 SB with 45190 Original miles. All chrome is mint, body is straight with nice clean lines with original paint. Interior in very good condition. Car must be seen to be appreciated. Asking $7000.00 O.B.O
Power windows: very desirable but not absolutely essential to the enjoyment of the car. Had a 69 Caprice 4 dr ht with manual windows. It wasn't too much of a chore to open them.
I must concur. I had a '71 Chrysler 4 dr hardtop with roll up windows, and it never presented a problem. Usually if it was a nice sunny day I'd just roll all 4 down before I went out, otherwise just the driver's window. Not much difference than a 2 door hardtop without power windows - same number of window winders to roll down.
With that, I never had a power window failure ruin my day...
I can tell you once you have the PW's in the MD HT, you would have to grudgingly settle for manual in the next one.
It's a fantastic and fun option to have in these "all glass" cruisers. All down, backs up, fronts up backs down, all up 3/4 and no reaching... on and on...
My original comment was really meant tongue in cheek, but truthfully, this 70 is so nice it really wouldn't matter. At least GM kept the rear cranks high and forward.
Clint could probably set you up to convert it anyway..

I'm sure you are right - all my 'newer' cars have power windows, and I enjoy the luxury of putting any window up or down at will.
But I don't want to start needing them on an old car as well...
I would take this '70 no matter what kind of windows it has, however. What a sweetheart!
