Well it felt like a big step to being back to somewhat normal by having a garage tour in Penticton today. What is interesting is that in a couple hundred yards in an industrial area is 5 great collections of cars. We had access to 3 of them and then another nice sized collection a kilometre away. What made it nice too was due to Covid we were only 9 of us on the tour so it gave lots of time to talk to the owners and hear the interesting stories of many of their cars. I felt fortunate to get the invite. Was interesting the mix of cars we had going down as I ended up tucked between 2 Jag convertibles. Guy behind me must have been running almost open exhaust as it was loud so at times I wasnt sure if my car was still running. Some of these pictures you will recognize as I have been to two of these venues previously.
So this gentleman Eric is a longtime builder and body shop owner. This Zephyr was built from a 4 door car and debuted at Sema in 2007. After stretching the doors about a foot he was even able to find a glass company at the coast to custom make curved glass windows. Think his build time was about 3 years. Its powered by a V12

This fellow is very involved with their local race track at Area 27. Designed and built with the likes of Jacques Villienuve its 5 kilometres long, has 700 feet change in elevation and has been named one of the top 5 tracks in North America. Here are a couple of the cars he races there.
So cool thanks for sharing! Love those 2 rare 69

The next pictures that I post with be from Ron G."s. He is a character. He likes any brand but seeks out low milers.
The Camaros are at Carters classic cars. I was one of the sponsors of that car in 91, 92, and 93 and did all of the graphics on it. It's in 1991 livery now. His collection has really slimmed down as he's gotten more involved with the track.

Yeah he has gone down from 26 cars to what I've shown today. Almost everything except the Mustang is for sale. Many of his cars went to Legendary Motor Cars.

Yeah, he had some nice cars. I meant to say that I was a sponsor of the 91 Camaro.

I figured it was likely as I cant imagine that many with those types of collections in the Okanagan. Met Ron a couple times through work years ago and from what I remember he was certainly no shrinking violet! Thanks again for sharing, its amazing the collections some people have been able to amass, better check my 649 Ticket!
