I've been living in my current place for 10 years and yesterday was the first time that I noticed my neighbour's 67 Beaumont. If I got the year wrong, please correct me.
I have known about the car for about 5-7 years now. it appeared downtown on numerous ocasions for a few weeks, a few friends saw it in traffic adn Andrew(AK67) took this picture. Yes same car, TOWNE pontiac emblem and the Caa decal in the window. I have never seen it in person tho.
Hopefully whoever owns it is up on the oil spray like Beaumontguru! Despite the winter driving, the car has all the moldings in place. Pretty clean as well. It also is in one of those funny Canadian 2-tones, this time a YA paint code. Sometimes people in harsher climates would go for the black roof instead of the vinyl top. The Sport Sedan was offered with the vinyl top.

This is a real sweetheart all right! The perfect little family old car. I wonder if he'd sell. I could use a matching set! My red 66 has the same black steel roof option and thank goodness whoever bought it ordered that way or it would likely be a convertible by now.
I've been driving mine around Alberta this summer wherever I've been based with the airtankers and it has been totally delightful and dependable again this year. Probably put on 3 or 4000 miles. Its a quite surprisingly quiet for wind noise even with the four door hard top configuration. The only drawback is that I suppose it is probably the easiest car to break into I could ever think of but I try not to get to obsessed with that kind of paranoia or I'd never leave the yard.
I managed to find and add an original tilt column (from a Lemans) this spring and I must say it improves my entry and exit quite a bit as well as making the long drives quite a bit more comfortable. Now I want to a install a 1966 era cruise setup and I will have a well set up highway car.
I was thinking about an overdrive but I have to admit I really am getting fond of the old Powerglide. It just works so well.
Sure would be good to get a peek at the interior if he gets another chance.
