This car came through on my Instagram feed from litre7, no other details on car but it seems like one a lot of fellas on here appreciate.

It's got the same hub caps as I put on my '73.

GTO was an option package in 72 so it was available on 2 door sedans if the buyer so desired.

 She's a 455 H.O. With a 4-speed that makes it an M22, and rear should be a 12-bolt 3.55:1

And that "HO" designation isn't just a decal. Special heads, intake, carb and cam. Great engine, quite a sleeper of an engine.

71-72 GTO is my favorite in terms of styling. But I like the 68-70 as well. The earlier cars, not so much for me.

Wilderness Green. Sleeper, or at least the way to dress it like a sleeper while ordering factor Ram-Air. Anyone ordering the base caps likely had a set of their favorite mags ready to roll. Or maybe no caps at all, and the dark green is camouflage for unsanctioned late-night racing. Car Craft did a new Pontiac test back in '72, "A Road Test of Three Indians". Each car, Ventura 350 coupe, GTO hardtop coupe 455 H.O. 4-speed, and the Trans Am 4-speed all were equipped with aftermarket mags prior to the testing.

there is (was ?) a '72 HO  2 door htp in  Mt Brydges, ON; original owner. Same colour green. I don't know if he still owns it ?

I owned a 70 Tempest two door sedan. It had a lot less wind noise than my 71 Malibu hardtop.

 I like it a lot!  The colour looks amazing on that car, and I've always like the plain jane cars anyhow, so this is how I would have ordered one back in the day (except for the fact that I was a kid at the time... biggrin).
