Theyre probably able to do it at a fraction of the cost than anything in North America, hence the reason for it not being a write-off. Wouldnt even be considered a candidate for repair here. Repair cost outweighs value.

That's what I do for a living. I have repaired worse and on cars that were written off for salvage to be reinspected. It's really not that hard if you have all the right pieces/tools to do the job. There are a few used car dealers here in Calgary that buy vehicles like these at auctions and have them repaired to re-sell to the public. There is a reason why these vehicles are written off and inturn should be used for parts only- but that's my opinion of course........
