Rare pariesienne 2+2 convertible. Father in-law passed so I am selling for his wife. I believe it has a 350 small block and looks like someone has done some work to it. Automatic console shifter with bucket seats. Brand new convertible top in the summer. Saftied last year. 100,867 miles on the car. Runs and drives great. Needs some seals replaced, leaking a bit into the interior. $8500 or best offer. Low ballers will be ignored.

The seller called me back and he has told me that he is overwhelmed with the response on this car.

He told me that he himself, does not know much about the car or Canadian Pontiacs.

This was his late father in-law's car. His mother in-law needs to pay for the funeral.

He is going to have all interested parties come at once on Saturday.

Sounds like a bidding war to me.

But I bet the late owner never told his wife how much the car was worth.

I just asked my wife what she thought my 69 Pontiac was worth.

She said $5,000 no

I will probably go and look at it.

Looks like a 305 in there to me.

Non original motor just screams "Replace me with a big block !"

The first thing that catches my eye on this one...the right quarter behind the wheel looks odd...

But it is one of what 700?

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the blue small block as a 305. It has a 4bbl quadrajet on it mounted on what appears to be an aftermarket intake with a block off plate of somekind.. Remember starting in 1977 GM painted all engines that corporate blue, I've seen may 350 4bbl LM1s in Z28s and Formulas, L48s in Corvettes and both 350 and 400 in GMC and Chevy trucks, all blue, all 4bbl.

Well that does change things. Frame rot usually means the side rails are pooched. Been there when I was new to this.

Again, it is a low number car, so it's probably worth the effort to change the frame.

its kind of hard to tell but it looks like it has a rear plastic window ? If so, someone cheapened out on top installation. Glass window was original factory. Although the top install looks pretty good.

I sold the frame from the 70 Parisienne convertible for $200 to a guy by Hamilton to use under a 69 Impala rag.  It cost him $800 to ship it from Calgary.  I think I know where there's a good frame under a 68 Parisienne convertible.

I just noticed it's missing the rear quarter marker lights on both sides.

The safety check laws in Ontario now make it tough for a patched frame to pass.

If I had that frame that Clint sold maybe I would consider it but in reality, it's not for me.
