1965 B. Heaterbox floor deflector question,

Is the 65 B vent supposed to have another clipped on passenger side deflector?

Looks like there is a provision for it to the right side of the deflector.

If yes, does anyone have one?

That looks like the typical deflector to me. Never seen one any different.

It's like they made provision to attach another deflector on, but chose not to. At least it looks that way.

Thanks.

On a related topic, I once saw a 65 Impala SS console that had molded venting in the top half to divert air to the rear....  No idea if it was an option or a custom built thing.

I do know the 66-70 console has a deflector that diverts the flow around the front of the console.

American Pontiacs (full and midsize) in the late 60s into the 70s didnt use a specific deflector for a console but all the 8 track cars had a deflector that avoided sending heat down the middle ( I guess to avoid overheating the 8 track motor or perhaps just to avoid blowing dust into it?)

The deflector on my 65 Catalina looks alot simpler than that and way different.
