Cool Facebook site for Keystone/Bison Dragways that operated easy of Winnipeg for many years. My nephew sent me a picture someone posted and the first thing I saw when I looked at it was his dad's (my brother) car, a 66 Chevelle, 2 door post named "Rat On". It was a 427/4 speed, FAST car at that time, seems to me it was around mid or high 11 seconds. Third car down the row in the picture.
If there was only a way to go back in time to live these days again . ( Especially with what we know today ).
Whatever happened to your brothers post car ?
There is even 4 dr ( possibly Chev ) in behind the vette . not too many 4 drs raced back then
I don't even know what became of it. I know the engine was out and apart, my brother was up in Yukon/Alaska area working and he did end up selling it but I can't recall if it stayed around here or not.
I'm not even sure he owned it at the time of the picture because from what I can tell it says "Greg Feal" or something like that on the 1/4. Not sure if that was the name of an owner of the car at some point or not but it could be. I believe a local guy name Brian also owned the Rat On but I don't recall if it was before or after Bill owned it.

Was that the gm section? A lot of gm there by far. Nice pic.

That was my first thought when I saw the pic - all GM with a Mustang or two and a few Mopars. Out east we had a pretty fair mix between all three brands at the drag strips, from what I remember.
