Ad says they came off a Firebird - I wonder if they would have the PMD caps since they were built in the US?

To me this is a moot point, the caps are identical to the ones used for Canadian Cars except the stamping. There was no Pontiac Motor Division in Canada , only GM Canada built various brands of cars. Arguably the most ubiquitous poverty cap used by Pontiac as they adorned the cars from 1965 through 1971 and were used in high numbers. The last version of poverty cap ran from 1972 through 1989 until the full sized Safari was discontinued and even though more years service few would be able to identify them as by the 80s more stylish wheels had become more commonplace.

Cars built in the USA and imported to Canada, like the Firebird would have had Pontiac Motor Division branding so there were plenty of cars in Canada at the time running around with PMD branding as well.
