That 1,732 number is for all 1975 GT optioned cars not Canada Cup cars. It is believed that each GM zone office got one Cup car to sell. That was about 48 in total.

If he reads his paper work it lists same model or same RPO code = 1.732 which is GT option. Canada Cup car was another special option on top of GT option.

Three of anything is rare but in this case it is probably 3 of 48 or so..  The GT option required a V8 so in '75 the choices were 350 2 & 4bbl Chevrolet and 400 Pontiac. Most were 350's.

 I would agree, While all LeMans cars got those two vents in the middle of the dash and the one on the extreme passenger side, this car has the temperature sensor on the dash and and the lower cooling vent for the passenger.

We can't see the drivers side but is would also have a vent in the extreme left position and the lower vent as well.
