Any Good Recommended Body and Paint Shops in Ontario?

Hi guys,

just wondering if anyone has any body and paint shops in Ontario. I am located near Niagara and also GTA area, so anywhere 1-2 hours away or closer would work.

The body shops that I have spoken to said they wont do body work or paint on classic cars? I said even if I signed off on no warranty. They still said no. They are now going towards just newer vehicles or insurance claims.

or if I am dealing with Classic car places. They say they want to work on the whole car and not just one thing? They want to do full resto.

I have a place to redo the engine, another place to redo the transmission. Im just looking for some paint and body work shop. 

the interior I can find from OPGI, and will attempt to do that myself at one point later on. Only issue are the dash parts.

But right now Im having an issue finding a good body and paint shop to do just that. there are no holes in the floor, its the quarter panel that was brass welded and sanded and filled. And then the front windshield channel that is rotted. But would also need a paint job anyways in its current condition. I have been quoted for Both body and paint work. But, both places said they want the whole car. Meaning more $$ to do everything else. 

Any suggestions or recommendations?

Actually my car is located in Welland! I may give him a call this week!

One guy came to my house. Said body was pretty solid and decent. And quoted me 10 to do body work and 10 to do the paint or something like that. But he said he wanted the whole car. And quoted 50 for the whole car frame off resto. 1-2 year time line but money up front. 50 percent up front.

Legendary I talked to along time ago when I had the riviera, but they quoted like 200k lol

Not sure if you want to travel as far as London, but I had a great experience with a place called Rich Refinishing Auto Body in London, Ontario.

I only had a small piece of damage fixed and repainted on the 2+2, but the work was excellent, prompt and reasonable.

 $20k for body and paint in your condition seems right if he does show car results. I would think Legendary would charge you $100 just to answer your call

 Its body off As well. He wouldnt take it on without doing a frame off resto/work either.

Mike, do the mechanical 1st, engine trans etc. drive it and get the "bugs" out BEFORE body & paint!!! You don't want to be putting engine in with "FRESH" paint or have to pull it out again if problems arise!! Don't ask, "been there ,done that" I learned a lesson!!! you can clean up engine bay when it's out ,paint inner fenders and firewall etc. I drove one of mine in primer for 1 summer & glad I did as engine took a "dump" and learning my "lesson from previous mistake" saved me a LOT OF PROBLEMS & cash.
