I worked the 1991 World Juniors in Saskatoon. That was I think one of the final years of the round robin only format, and the stars were Eric Lindros for Canada, and Pavel Bure for USSR. I ran the satellite truck for TSN, and had a heck of a good time.

The TV mobile and I in the satellite truck drove from Calgary to Saskatoon on Christmas Day, in -40C temperatures. We parked the trucks at Sask Place, and took a cab downtown to our hotel. Then I remember wandering the streets downtown looking for a place to eat Christmas Dinner at. The only place open was a Chinese Restaurant, which was fine by me. We then took a cab a few blocks back to the hotel.

ya watched the German boys take it on the chin last night-tough game for them-very deflating.I think it will be a different game this evening though.
