NOS stuff under the tree!!Just not car parts.....

|So...seems the family knows I like old used sh$t and un used old stuff. This was under the tree. It sure brought back a lot of memories from my childhood.  I can remember when dad mounted one of these in the camper. Back in the old days when my sister and I would ride in the camper and lay in the bed and look out the forward window of the camper. Dad had the intercom system hooked up from the cab of the truck to the camper. When we had to pee (no washroom back then!) or wanted to stop we would push the button and radio him to pullover. just another cool old school thing to fill my house......

I love that old Realistic stuff. A old buddy of mine, his father managed a Radio shack in Hamilton 1974-79. As kids we got to play with all that stuff. Talk about being a kid in a candy store.

When I was a kid my Dad had a Heathkit intercom in our home. There was a station in our bedroom and we would be told to stop playing and go to sleep. I shared a bedroom with my brother.

I loved Radio Shack in the 70's. Remember all the cool "Science Fair" project kits?

When I was a boy our "school bus" for a couple of years was a Ford F100, about a 69 model belonging to  our neighbour. It had a cap on the box with a walk in door where the tailgate would have been and a seat along each side of the box, front to back. There was an intercom in there for us to tell the driver when we were loaded at each stop and ready go, and it sure looked a lot like this one does. Could you buy these in 12 volt also?

I believe the ex-girl did use it back in those days as a joke. (she thought it was funny) But, no kids, no wife, me live happy life rings true to my ears with no intercom required! (I was never married.)

Super cool!

As a teen I loved my Radio Shack CB walkie talkie! My handle was Double Dare. My buddy, two doors away was Starvin' Marvin ... we never used the home phones.smile

I have a set of Uniden walkie talkies now that my wife and I use on occasion.
