Nice car. But either has one more zero at the end or the one in front of the price too many.

Would it be a 230 not a 250?

230 was standard and the 250 was an extra cost option starting in 1967,  thats why its got the 250 badges.  I had a parts car twin to this one 10 years ago, i still have teh 250 emblems they are cool and not seen too often

This is a beautiful original, but yes price is a bit crazy.

I think back to the years between 1997 and 2007, i had a 67 beaumont sedan and a 64 beaumont sedan, both all original with like 50K mileage orig paint cars,  i paid 1500 and 1800 for them!  i guess times change,  but not that much.

Out east I'd expect to see a $10K price tag on something like that now.  Prices seem to have taken a jump over the past few years, but it's not like I'm out there buying and selling all of the time to know what they actually go for.  I'm sure there are others on here who would have a better idea on the actual value of that one.

It's a really nice example, though.  Kinda reminds me of a certain survivor Beaumont sedan that was sold from here and eventually had a big block installed.  That's one I should have jumped on when it was still in NS - it would still be mint and original if that had happened.

i enjoy wagons and 4 doors as much as anything else. the extra doors were always helpful when the kids were small. i could still enjoys the car hobby and not worry about kids damaging something very expensive. i could buy something in amazing shape for a small percentage of a iffy condition 2 door. dont misunderstand that i wouldnt like a super car but its never been in my budge. weirdly my survivor family cars always draw a lot of attention. i assume because they are cars people actually had vs the car dad really wanted. i know my dad looked at cool cars and bought practical

Yup, that's my take on it too.  My next collector-type car will probably be an original survivor-type 4-door for those very reasons.  I like 2-doors as well, but IMHO prices have gone a bit crazy recently.

Lovely as a time capsule, but driving it would be challenging, today. I struggle in traffic with the '62 Impala 409/409 - it takes way longer to get up to speed, or to stop, than a mundane Korean subcompact does, these days. And, at least in my observation, driving standards have deteriorated in this era, meaning something slow and ponderous is a magnet for unguided missiles, piloted by Instagram Influencers and texting fiends. Can't count the number of times I've been honked at, or flipped off, because I have to start slowing for a corner so much sooner than modern cars.

My 4 door Beaumont that I had would always draw a crowd no matter where I went.

Maybe where you are, but around here (NS) there's no problem driving an older low-performance car around.  You just have to plan ahead a little more than when driving a newer point-and-squirt car.  Maybe people are more laid back here, I don't know.

Yeah, that's the difference. I had the car in my mother's garage in Goderich from '12 to '14, and really enjoyed using it in the summers, there. It may make its way back up that way soon. They just don't do well in modern, urban traffic. Manageable, but stressful.
