Pair of 74-77 Lemans, Grand Am, Front Parking/Signal Light Housings and Trim Rings in very good condition. Left lens almost perfect with no cracks or abrasions, absolutely minor road rash, Right lens the same but for one non-penetrating nick to the lens, (see pic). Chrome in good/fair condition with some pin-size pocking along upper (hidden) edge of trim rings, but zero breaks or scratches. Housings and interiors in excellent, undamaged condition. Asking $60.00 obo.
Bump. Proof of $25 contribution to Canadian Poncho + shipping. Free from me but donation going to this site. Send postal code for shipping cost. They're light and compact so the cost to ship should not be great. Thanks.
While the 73-77 LeMans/Grand Am do look alike, the 73 is a one year only style with a lot of specific Sheetmetal and trim bits. Parking lamps are one of them. Because of their location more often that not they are damaged or broken entirely, making them near impossible to find and when they are found in good condition they are very expensive. You will note that our knowledgeable seller Paladin has omitted the 73 from the listing knowing the uniqueness and rarity of those parking lamps.
Wish they were 73's I'd happily grab them as spares.
NOTE: The reason '73 is a one year style only is because the car was suppose to debut as a '72 and carry over for '73 there-by keepig with GM's styling program in effect at that time of two year cycle. It is the same reason that there are three years of the 70, 71 and 72 bodystyle. UAW labour unrest in 1970 and 1971 slowed production and scheduled '72 production was deferred until '73. This gave GM the ability to use up 71 parts on 72s. There are plenty of photos of preprodcution cars that we know as 73s without the Federal mandated 5 mph bumper which wouldn't have been required in '72.
