well ... I'm getting a bit closer to a 'thing' on these housings.. but I'm sizing up the screws to fasten the lenses on and, for the life of me, I cant find any online.. probably due to name I'm using (more than half the battle when searching)
I'd call them a Philips head shoulder screw... an automotive #8x32 shoulder screw with Philips head.. and so on..
I've tried the usual suspects.. Ausley's, chevelle depot, OPGI.. etc...
I think they're available, but I think I'm using the wrong name to get a hit on the search.
any suggestions? . Thanks to Jerel for suppling the light housing about 5 years ago..
found these ones on the chevelle depot site... but no dimensions

Kelly, if it helps any, the GM number for the screw is 5958107. Also, 66 Cutlass uses the same screw in the front park lamp lens. No dimensions given though, sorry.

They look similar to the screws for the front turn signal lights on my 1970 B-body Pontiac's. I have a supply of them, and can provide you the measurements to see if they'll work for you.
Im using a Prusa MK3s+ printer as we have about 6 of them here at work, so it's been proven to be a good workhorse.
The CAD software I'm using is Fusion 360 by Autodesk.. I've been taking tutorials, and training as much as possible over the past year to learn it.. it's still a bit on the "what the hell am I doing?"... but it's coming.
I had a company here in Vancouver scan the original and then he converted the mesh (scan) to a solid for me.. it was incredibly expensive to have done.. but, for some weird reason, I really want to see this through and it was the quickest, easiest way to do it.
if I can load the video of a "dry run" from the machine shop.. it will show some cool things.

I've been trying to verify the lengths from suppliers.. I have one in my desk as well..
Ultimately it probably wont matter. The machine shop called this morning (friday Jan 8) and the run time on the machine would be over 12 hours if I try to make the housing as it was in 66 (only aluminum) which is, of course, not cost effective.. so I suggested that the only real factors are the exterior look of the housing.. like the exterior flange and the ID that would accept the 66 lens and keep it vertical... other than that.. LED bulb fixture in back with a plain looking housing behind the bumper shouldnt matter.. unless it's a concourse resto.. than it's back to casting them in plastic.
