I was searching for a working 2 speed wiper motor with washer for my 62. The last time I saw one was Impala Bob's, before they went under and the price was around $895 US with all the additional fees. I checked Classic Industries who use to have a listing but no longer. Even though NAPA didn't have anything in their system for one, I reached out to my NAPA friend, Chester, NS, who agreed to send my old one away for a quote to have it rebuilt. It was going to cost me $20 to send it out and $20 to get it back if I didn't like the quote. It came back all rebuilt without getting a quote. Retail was $299 + $43 freight. I know wiper motors for other years are much cheaper but based on the US price I came away feeling like I got a steal of a deal. The main point I wanted to make is, if you need a part and can't find it or don't like the price don't overlook trying something like this.
I would think they would rebuild any core, the inside wouldn't be that different. The box says A1cardone their website is www.cardone.com I don't know if they deal with the public but it may help your local NAPA store reach out.
