Anyone have any leftover Typar or building wrap?

I know, it's a strange request. I'd like to actually use it behind the door cards and back seat on my 65, when I get around to installing them this year.

The reason I'd like some house wrap, is it's said to be water and vapor proof one way, probably none better to keep the cards dry and still allow some outflow. Problem is, I'm looking for a small amount and I'd need to buy a full roll of it. No small quantity of it is available. I'd measure out exactly how much I'd need.

Now I do know there are a few garage projects on the go here...wink

I'd gladly pay for it plus the freight.

Any help appreciated,

Thanks, Mark

Check local body shop suppliers. Stick it on with dumb dumb (black sticky stuff) With headliner out have you considered shoulder belts. Should be easy to mount on roof rail.

You did shoulders didn't you Cliff? So it's 2 floor mounted retractors, with a buckle (or whatever it's called) at the roof rail?

Lumber places here on PEI sell Typar by the foot ... you might want to check around further. Is there a Castle Building Center near you?

Use what you need and I'll take the roll back.

You never know what you may need this for.

It is handy.

He can't put that stuff in his car. The reason is obvious.

Tyvek is such a good product. I remember it clearly the first time a rep at a trade show demonstrated it to me. He had a steaming cup of coffee in his hand and put a piece of tyvek over it. The steam came up nicely through the material and then he turned the cup upside down with no liquid escaping. Exactly what you want it to be doing. Not just holding moisture out but being able to breathe.

To my mind Jerel, it makes total sense. Probably overkill, but you might as well use Tyvek it if it's available and you need your barriers done.
