Anyone ever deal with PartsAvatar.ca?

Not really familiar with these guys but found them when looking for a Spectra tank for my little truck.  Price was quite competitive with RockAuto but they have free shipping for over a $100.  Shipping a tank obviously cost abit through RockAuto.  It is supposed to be here Feb 1 so time will tell.

Looks like a really good interface. The company leadership is run by a bunch of well educated East Indian heritage guys. The CEO and CMO are McMaster educated. It appears they have offices in Toronto, Montreal and in India.

So as a price comparison, I priced KYB Gas A Just KG5507's for the back of my 65 on PA: $53. Rock auto; $40. Too general to tell the tale. I think you'd need a big order of many smaller parts to see where they stand pricewise.

I'd think being a newer company they'd work hard for your business.

Do they stock parts or source them after you order? Shipping speed?

Free shipping over $100 no matter what the size?? How could you keep your head above water at that rate? But sometimes it amazes me! Bought two 4" silicone elbows from Japan (free shipping) when building my Canso.  $12ea ($56ea here) and they showed up at my door in 9 days!!!!! That was one fast freighter!!!!

Well so far it all has gone as planned. Received my fuel tank today. I haven't opened the box yet but it doesn't look busted up at all. The free shipping for anything over a hundred dollars is probably one of their best benefits and pricing is competitive. Biggest advantage is on larger parcels.

I have ordered from them a few times. Very fast shipping, it cost me a little to ship up to whitehorse cause we are in the middle of nowhere. Shipping prices are decent, definitely not garbage aftermarket parts. And our member discont helps to. They have a wide  range of parts for any make of vehicles.
