For those who always wondered.......what's in the Colonel Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe

There have been lots of claims to having the Colonel's KFC recipe for chicken, but none of them ever taste like the real thing.

Over the last couple of years I've been following this Toronto guy on youtube in his quest to replicate the KFC recipe.

Looks like he now has the 11 herbs and spices that go into the recipe for making the Colonel's fried chicken.

the end was a bit of a let down, but it was a good watch either way.

The end product sure looks better than what has been coming out of franchises for decades now - often it's so greasy, and it sure seems to have gotten greasier over the years.
Maybe that's evidence of corporate cost cutting.

Back in the 70s while still in high school I worked for a refuse company. One of our stops was Kentucky Fried Chicken. One of the employees told us that the recipe had been changed and instead of fresh milk, milk powder had been added to the ingredients to reduce cost. The chicken was never the same after the change to powdered milk.
