62 Safari on kijiji Toronto but in Thunder Bay

Sure looks sweet. Just loose the wheels, wide whites and adjust the price a bit.

Very nice wagon. I might be tempted to remove the 50's wide whites though.

That car is beautiful. Now if only had studded snow tires so I could drive it home from the lakehead in the winter!

The shop owner where I was an apprentice owned a 1962 Stratochief Safari as the parts pickup vehicle. It was a 348 three speed standard. The engine and trans was swapped in from a 58 Impala. It was a rough old car but was fun to drive. It ended up being replaced by a 1963 Mercury 3/4 ton unibody pickup.

Years ago I looked at a 60 Laurentian 4 door sedan factory 348 with a 3 on the tree. Was quite amazing. I was tempted but was in the middle of 61 restore so I passed.

Man that looks pretty-clean!! may be a tad high but I think there in the ball park, depending on what's under the hood??? I don't see any emblems for V8 so 261 6 banger??? I like the Cragars but the W/W have to be turned around!!!

$_59-4.JPGThe price is great imo.   If it was a Impala wagon it would be more.    gorgeous wagon. Im pretty sure there are other rims and tires to fit.
