Big barn fire in Niagara on the lake. Classics lost.

Anyone know of who and what was in there? Apparently a big lot of boats and classics. Just awful.

Oh boy, that's really bad news. Google street view shows a big SHOWROOM sign visible from the road but there are several buildings. Next door is a wood artifacts manufacturer.

Yikes!  That's always been a worry of mine when storing cars in somebody else's building.  I feel terrible for anybody who may have lost their pride and joy!

I feel their pain. Lost a garage about 20 years ago that took cars, bikes, snowmobiles, etc with it. Worst part was trying to catalogue everything for insurance purposes. Missed a lot of things when cataloguing because we had to go mostly by memory, then years later when you need a specialized tool for something it was a crap I forgot about that moment. If I can give anyone advice on anything about their garages it would be to make a list of every single thing in your garage, duplicate that list, put it in a safe, email it to yourself so that you can have it, whatever. Doesnt matter what it is. Every little thing. Even random washers, screws, a piece of metal. That stuff adds up REALLY quickly, and if you dont submit it for insurance purposes then you wont get reimbursed for it.
