hardtop doors on 66 parisienne

Hello all, window crank on my 2 door is frozen up. was working a bit, i could get the window up and down with a lot of muscle but now it is solid. I took the glass out and all the mechanism. I looked online to see if i could find a manual or diagram for this but didn't have much luck. I know this car is on an american frame etc. but the body is not impala. What is the equivalent american body? Lemans? Trying to find service manual also. Any ideas?

Thanks

Woody

I had a heck of a time moving the windows in my 2 door sedan. Pretty much all stuck but not jammed, the cure without disassembly, was to simply spray some good penetrant oil into the regulator at the crank shaft, pivots, rollers, sliders and geared points on the arms and regulator. Freed them up and they work like new now.

Here's some illustrations from the 1965 Fisher body All Lines service manual. Should cover at least any 65-66 B model 37. 60's GM B bodies for the most part share the same internals across each model year. There is some more detail in the book if you need it. Hope this helps.

Woody,

If you need parts let me know. I have a couple of complete assemblies. They are from a Catalina but as Mark mentioned they interchange.

Bill.

Someone here might have a spare Fisher all line body manual they'd sell, but in the meantime this should do,

I had a similar problem and took the assembly out and replaced the rollers.  It was a while ago, but I also replaced the window roller plate

I replaced the rollers as well as putting new rivets in the pivot points

Had the rivets  peened over ..

Bought parts from H&H and Altha Fasteners

I don't have a body manual for sale Woody but if you decide you'd like an assembly manual for your 66 I have that for sale.
