What's everyone using for NS switch on aftermarket shifter????

Put a Locar shifter in the C-10 and was wondering what other guys have done for a "no start" in gear control. Floor mount shifter has no neutral safety switch. Was thinking of putting a relay on the brake light switch to the crank/start circuit This way you would have to have your foot on the brake for it to crank/start. Kinda like the new vehicles. Could still start in gear...but at least your foot would be on the brake pedal! Thoughts.........

Will this truck need to pass a safety when it's done? If so, will a brake pedal switch pass? I'm not sure that it does here in Manitoba at least, because I think they are supposed to test it in gear without using the brake.

If you have to do a shifter mount it would be a bit of work to make the starter enabled in both neutral and park, simple enough so it's only enabled in park.

Assume its an automatic? Manual transmission vehicles originally had no switch like this and do not need one for an inspection in NS. Same as seatbelts.

A buddy has a Lokar shifter in his truck and he bought the neutral start switch and bracket from Lokar. The truck has a turbo 350 trans.
