For sale a set of 4 new GM 480301 centre caps with the red background , 70-72 Rally II wheels. The chrome bezels have 9787942 cast into them.IMG_5728.JPGIMG_5729.JPG Original boxes are gone. $ 20.00/each $75.00 for the set plus postage.

Bummer. I've got black center caps on my 70 Parisienne, it appears some 70's have black, some red.

1967 to 1969 are Black with red letters.

Early 1970 are Black with red letters.

Conventional wisdom and most restoration guides suggest January 1970 switched to Red with black letters.

1971 and 1972 were Red with black letters. 

1973 to at least 1981 are brushed with red arrowhead.

My personal favourite is the Black ones which look great with the black insert lug nuts.

My car is a May 70 build, but went with the black caps. Then I added the red/black/white decals and red might now look ok.

I do not believe I am wrong in saying that Rally II wheels were not an option on Canadian nameplate B bodies in 1970 so Clint whatever you choose would be fine.

egads that was a smoking deal!!

I payed more than that for just the red ornaments twenty-plus years ago... granted I bought them through a local GM dealership, but still.

Congrats to whom ever got them!!
