Looks nice, but $52K is kinda rich.

Would rather have a $25K 307 car for my tastes... biggrin

Alternator is on the wrong side. If it were a '68 job well done. But who am I to judge.............

Very nice car but $52K and it's not a SD? My 68 Convertible was pretty darn close to same condition (maybe 1 step below on 1-10 scale?), albeit a stout 350 rather than a 396 but I sold it for about 1/2 that 4 years and that was after a couple of weeks. Has market shifted up that much?

I don't think so. I guess we'll see if this one sells.

I would be surprised to see it move at that price, just my opinion

I've seen the listing, the car shows very well. I agree the price is pretty steep for a former 307 car. Not being one to pick it over, but for that price, it better be right. Who ever installed the big block didn't appear to care too much about staying pure and correct. The rad top support is atrocious as well as the incorrect engine brackets. Looks like it may have also had a disc brake conversion, and the brake lines look pretty roughly bent up too. And the Pontiac rallye wheels, although pretty, kind of look out of place too. Nice to see all the original dealer paperwork and documents though.

And.....If you're going to throw a BB in it, at least go the extra mile and install the proper hood. Maybe a monkey built it-who knows. A 3 dressed up as a 9 situation. For that kind of money I'd be looking real close, underneath, in the trunk, bottoms of the doors, pulling the trim away from the pinch welds to see if the 1/4's have been changed- lack of factory spot welds. If there's lots of undercoating or not. Some things to ponder if considering..........
