Yes for sure,  i cant think of his name off hand.  lives in rivers, owns the old airforce base and surrounding lands,   car was at world of wheels a few years ago,  talked with his wife about the car.   its nice!

I think it was from the Dan Minor collection and sold to him before minor auctioned alot of the collection,  but dont quote me on that,  i might be wrong,  was a number of years ago now.

Now that you mention if I think Gary told me about that. For some reason I was thinking this was the car from northern Minnesota or Grand Forks I'm not sure which.

Racer John Hagen had one in minnesota way back in the 1960's  .  came to keystone a few times.  but thats not the same car.

The Minot car is Black and I believe also made an appearance at the Winnipeg WOW show some time back (I missed that year). It has been at the Grand Forks show for certain.

Somehow I think that many years ago I saw an unrestored red one at a little show in Grand Forks. Seems to me it had around 60,000 miles, some paint fading etc, just a perfect amount of patina. That was the first Z16 I'd ever seen in real life.

Yes, Ive met the owner in Calgary several years ago, when he popped out to visit. Great guy, for sure a Z16 in the Peg!

1 of 201 with 1 ragtop-Triple black. Ragtop has yet to be found/recovered. All built on convertible frames, all were 4 speeds, and also built in Feb and I think early March. Very hard to clone. GM's first BB in an intermediate size car. Had big wheel bolt pattern. Apparently there is one north of Calgary in or near around Crossfield. Have yet to see it.

Z16 has been my holy grail since 1965.....smile

Used to see a yellow one at Niagara cruising the pits and a 65 396 Vette Coupe from the same dealership also yellow.

Dan Blocker (Hoss Cartwright) had an early one as a promotional piece from Chevrolet Motor Division. It's changed hands a coupla times in the last twenty years, big bucks.  TV son of Lorne Greene, the Pride of Ottawa, along with Paul Anka, Dan Akroyd, and Alanis Morrisette.

I saw one in Spokane two summers ago at the Good Guys show. Dave Kindig had one of his cars there too. He sure does nice work.
