Welcome Spring !

Still too much sand and salt on the roads but soon biggrin

A 2017-2019 Corvette went by as I was taking this shot.

Poor guy is going to cringe when he sees the corner ahead, its a sand box !

At least the snow is going away fast. Where I live it's supposed to be warm all next week so I'm hopeful there won't be much snow left by next weekend.

We were downtown in Burlington yesterday. Jammed. We've never see spring crowds like this. The streets were absolutely filled with people tired of being cooped up.

I've had my car out a few times already. Considering how mild it was, which tends to make the roads worse, I'm surprised how little sand there is. The streets are actually real nice. I've never had such an early start. It feels pretty good to drive my car before spring has officially arrived!

Need a good rain here to was away the road grime and salt dust. Maybe get out by mid April out here on the West Coast Island.
But have seen a few out already, braving the sand and road salt. They use a lot of Brine out here on the roads, which turns to dust
real easy. But was 12* yesterday. Looking for 20 real soon, LOL.

I couldn't stand it any longer and took mine out yesterday.  Wanted to feel the newly rebuilt-by-Carl engine.  Purred like a kitten with a noticeable difference in performance.  Still a 230 but very different performance.

We are in bad need of rain (for many reasons), but the streets in town are fairly clean.

I took mine out Tuesday for a test drive around the block, then yesterday for a bit longer. Just stuck to dry roads and no parking lots where snow dumps are melting. Later this week they are predicting a lot of rain which should clean the roads. Then I'll be taking the car out much more often.

Street sweepers have been going for a couple weeks so most of the main roads are clear and wasn't much sand on the less used roads. They have washed many of the boulevards but haven't washed the street yet. Been driving for weeks though. Little dust won't hurt this car.

You must be on a different part of the island than Tim. He always has sunny and +30 where he is.

Or do you think he's lying to me?

Yes, the snow was melting. Our new (installed last December) septic tank and field is a very nice mud-wrestling ring right now.

Warm, sunny and dry here but still lots of salt and brine dust. Will prep one tomorrow and wait for the rains predicted for later in the week.

17 here yesterday, need a good heavy rain to wash off roads. We had little snow this winter, I used the blower 3 times. We had snow Friday, about 5-6 inches but I let God take care of it, all gone now but they did salt the roads.

Im getting my heater core replaced, then doing new coils and bushings, so be a while before my 63 makes it out on the road.
