Anyone replace it?

My 65 post was missing it. I bet it crumbled when the rear window was replaced and they never bothered with it.

So I see they are readily available in black, at what seems to be a ridiculous price for two pieces of molded plastic and a center joining piece. But you obviously have little choice if you want it to look finished. Paint it to suit.

How do they mount? Do they just push on, over and around the headliner glue strip, and get retained by the corner and top center pieces? I see no screws on the molding. Just curious is all.

Heres some shots of the repop, an eBay part and the stock trim in place with the corner,

I see stock appears to have fine lines and some detail embossed into it. Is this pattern on all B Sedans? CBOP?

What color is your interior? Is it blue?

Yes, blue.

Kind of a silver blue, and the headliner is the light blue. Actually the trim will be the same as the last picture (the corner piece). Which is Carls 66. Same colour trim I think.

Hey Mark - as we discussed I visited a local yard with a 65 chev and got the following 2 pieces

IMG_2878.JPG

here are some pictures of the car l removed them from

IMG_2863.JPGIMG_2864.JPGIMG_2865.JPG

- the middle section of that trim is pretty badly bent so I didn't bother trying to remove it

anyway it you want those corner pieces let me know - they are quite solid

They look like the right ones. If not really similar. And metal as well. Easy cleanup.
