Only took 6 months


Finally picked up the heart of the car with all the shipping and covid delays.

Time to get mocking up, so I can tear er apart again for paint.Only 

1000 little pieces to figure out.

Do those valve covers have a spot for a filler cap? They only look to have spots for PCV and vent tube.

Looks like a potent combination going in to your project! Is that a wooden floor that its sitting on?  Might be worth sealing it with a fire resistant product?

Those were some old covers from my vette I think,I never even noticed that.
Yes its a wood floor.The garage had a paved floor and burnt,the owners didnt want to
put in a concrete floor so leveled it out with stone and put wood on top.
Its a 355 about 475hp.
You'd be that kind to me Kevin and break it in?.

Not really I can mk that my oil fill.I dont have enough vacuum for power brake ,so I have to either go
manual brakes or hydraboost.Also running the Sniper efi so dont need vacuum there?

What does vacuum have to do with adding oil?  The hole on the drivers side valve cover is for the PCV valve, hole on the passenger side valve cover is for a vent.      I guess you can pull the vent and add oil in there, but there may be a baffle that impedes the oil flow when added.
