I look forward to some good conversations
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Thanks,
I bought the car out of Ontario and it is supposed to be shipped soon. It has 15" rims with ralley wheels. I would like to put it back to the original hubcaps.
Im not sure if the originals where 15". I kinda think they would have been 14?
I've informed Brad that the car has Disc brakes and 14" wheels likely won't fit!! Only alternative would be 15" steel wheels and some full whl. discs that are "close" to what he's looking for, otherwise leave the Rally's on it.

He should be able to find a stock steel wheel to fit disc brakes on an Acadian IF it's a GM disc setup. I know on the full size it won't work with 14's but I ran a set of disc brakes on my 66 Nova SS and used 14" small centre rally wheels. Only one way to know for sure though!

I still haven't received delivery of the car. When I do I will do some measuring. I was told that a 14 X 6" rim might fit rather than the stock 14 X 5" rim.
The 6" is from a station wagon and is slightly offset which might help.
well ill wait until the car is delivered, hopefully about a week.
Im looking for the original 65 hubcaps with spinners but if they wont fit there isnt much point.
I found 3 complete hubcaps and 1 hubcap with no spinner but overall rough shape. Ill try to find a spinner to make it a set
Click on the little "Canadian Poncho" underneath "List All Users"
Scroll down to the section you would like to post in, for example "General/Acadian Ventura Discussion" and click on there.
At the far right side of the page above the list of topics you will see "Start a New Topic". Click on that.
It will open a window and the top line is "Subject". Type in what you want to talk about, for example "Acadian Production Numbers"
Then below that in the big blank box, click your mouse and start typing. Enter what you need to say and when you have it all typed look down below that box and click on "Submit Post"
If you have trouble with this, I can do a phone call with you sometime and we can go through the steps live.
