Wow, that would set a record I bet if they get close to their asking price.

I Love the colour though...... Couple of things I'd sure change. For one thing, either engine or the 10 bolt diff aren't original. Tilt/signal levers are from a US model. Heater hoses. There's more....

The seat covers look to be the originals, at least they have the correct pleats from what I can see.

Do you think that is the one that was for sale in Quebec with different wheels?

The engine is probably not original, looks to have the alternator on the wrong side.

I'm thinking it was on here about a year or two ago, with those wheels (or similar ones) on it.  That's all I've got at the moment, and I could be wrong...

Edit:  I was thinking of the one in this 2015 thread (and it may have resurfaced again later on):  https://canadianponcho.activeboard.com/t60273159/1966-grand-parisienne-barn-find/?page=2

From the ad posted today (before it disappears):

THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN SOLD

This vehicle is no longer available for sale on ClassicCars.com.

For Sale: 1966 Pontiac Grand Parisienne in Lexington, Kentucky

$33,900 (OBO)

Rare Pontiac luxury muscle car that has been a part of a private car museum for the past 7 years. Regularly maintained and run. Totally restored!

High-quality, high-end restoration paint in beautiful metallic reef turquoise with high-gloss finish. Matching turquoise interior. Interior has been completely redone with new factory interior. The Grande Parisienne was the top of the line for Pontiac. It was produced in Canada and has the original high performance Chevrolet 396 HO 325 horsepower engine that has been freshened along with the drive train and new shocks and suspension parts. Numbers matching, all original as Pontiac manufactured in Canada were powered by factory-installed engines, supplied by the Chevrolet division.

Brand new tires, new flow master exhaust system and rust free. Always kept inside a private climate controlled museum. Total engine and drive train rebuild at 64,000 miles. Very low milage of 65,073 miles.

Both Chevrolet and Pontiac were produced in the same factory. As a result, some of the highest performance engines were the HP 396 325 HP. The Grande Parisienne was developed to be both a high-end luxury vehicle and a super-high performance muscle car. The front and rear look like the GTO, with the stacked headlights and rear-end styling.

Reducing the size of our 40-car museum inventory. Beautiful car from the vintage muscle car era.

Clean US title in hand, car is available for in-person viewing or can be seen on a FaceTime video call. We can help arrange shipping if needed.

I saw the car on Instagram about a week ago, typical US lack of knowkedge banter  like " YOU MEAN 326 NOT 396" , "THAT IS JUST SO WRONG" ETC...
