Yes, you are right and unfortunately with that type of play your head goes down to focus on what you are doing so this happens. Just too bad but it is part of the game. Same thing for the offender, he is just trying to prevent the play from being made. Wouldn't be sports if someone didn't get hurt especially at the speed of the game.
