'69 Full Size Front Sheet Metal Parts

I am looking for a few '69 full size, front sheet metal parts in solid, unbent condition.

PART #10, #11, #16, & #17 as noted in the diagram. I NEED parts #10 and #11 for both sides. Part #16 is optional for both sides, as the ones I have will work. Part #17 on the passenger side is usable, but I NEED a driver's side. If someone has complete sets for both sides, I will take them. A couple of them my be a long shot, but you don't know until you ask! Also, looking for radiator core support brackets, for both sides, where the bottom large hole that mounts to the frame is not rusted out. These are used on the Impala too. Thanks for any help with this!

I'll keep looking , but as it stands now , I have nothing . Can anyone else help ?

Do you think those parts may have been eliminated sometime during the 1969 model year ?

I didn't remember those parts on my front end.

A good reason to be on a cool shop floor on a hot day biggrin

Of course this car had a life before but look below,

This is the Valance that Mark gave me a few years ago. Note the clip where I think part #10 secures.

018a.jpg

Now on my car and the one I had before, There is a hard rubber coated stud. Pressed in, no clip. It fits in the eye hole of the bumper.

and like my father before me, bent back to stop an annoying rattle.

Another mid year change ?

Check your valance, I'm curious of whether you have the clip or a stud.

Appreciate you getting "cool" on the garage floor! My car was produced in November of '68, so I can't speak to any mid-year changes. My valance has a clip in it and all the mounting spots for the parts I am seeking. It seems like overkill for mounting a valance. I was looking through the assembly manual that Carl so painstakingly reproduced, (THANKS CARL!!) and noticed I did not have part #10 & #11 on the car. The mounting holes are there, but not the parts. I am removing the valance for a re-paint and thought it would be nice putting it back together the way it came from the factory. It would be interesting to know how many others with '69 full-size cars, have or don't have these parts installed.confuse Thanks for the pictures Randy!

Bumping this as a last request attempt. If these parts are considered "obscure", I know that part #17 is more common. I would like to get a nice pair of these, but would settle for a nicer driver side one, than the one I have. Anybody?? Thanks!

Let me take a look for the rad support gussets. I had a set from the 69 I parted out for the chassis, but think I tossed them. I think they're different than the ones for 70.

I looked where they would be, but they're absent.  I think I pitched them.

There is a possibility they might be in one last place, but I won't have a chance to check there for a week or so.  It's not looking good.

So....a little patience paid off for me and Howard!biggrin Found these waiting for me this afternoon:

MUCH better than I expected! Packing quality and shipping speed is excellent! MUCH thanks to you Howard! You are one of the good ones to deal with, especially when it comes to a guy in the states needing Canadian-only made parts!

I still am in need of one more #10 - (Brace, valance to core support) and (2) #11 - (Support, valance to impact bumper bar), which may be next to impossible to find. If anyone spots these parts in their future salvage yard visits, please grab them as you've got an appreciative paying customer!biggrin Thanks!
