Yeah, I'd like to see what it looked like after a few good whacks with a ball peen hammer. Or even a few pokes with a screwdriver.
Seen lots of "undercoating" jobs like that over the years... put it on good and thick over the rotten areas, they'll never know the difference...
How about spray foam covered with black "undercoating", I have a parts car with this.

Back in the eighties a guy brought a VW rabbit in for an inspection and the rocker panels were spray foam painted with rocker panel coating. Because the rocker panel is considered structural on a unibody car it didnt pass!
