Does anyone know if the gas tank used in the Canadian Pontiac wagon is the same as the one used in the Chevy wagon?

I need to replace the gas tank sending unit and want to purchase the correct one.

I'd take a "stab" & say yes as Cdn. PONCHO & Chevy are the same underneath!!!
