1974 Corvette quadrajet casting numbers

This is a complete shot in the dark;

I dabble with Quadrajets, and it started when I was in earnest looking for a carb for my Firebird probably twenty years ago.

I have lots of parts, and recently came to own three more which were used by a local racer;

Since they were used by a quarter mile guy, many pieces have been removed, or swapped.

I was wondering if anyone here knows the correct casting numbers for the throttlebody, or airhorn for a 1974 Corvette Quadrajet with the application number 7044211.

I am guessing that this one in particular is worth trying to put back together correctly.

Thanks!

My 1974 Rochester Carburetors GM parts guide shows the throttle body number for this carb as 17050587

That's a part number for the assembly;
casting numbers are rarely in any printed literature.

I have probably 30-40 1967-1974 Quadrajets in my shed. Most are GMH but some will be ex US GM vehicles. I'll have a look for you in a few days when my back unlocks a bit more for me. The GMH Quadrajet in 1973-4 were 7043283 and 7043284 so I can check those for you if you like. I suspect the 1974 US Quadrajet will be more like our 7045281 with the sealed fuel bowl, and looking here it does:

quadrajetpower.com/chevrolet-1974-350-quadrajet-7044211-corvette-high-performance/

Out of interest I stumbled upon a mint 1969 Corvette 350/350hp 7029207 DA Quadrajet at a swap meet a few months ago. I got it rebuilt but didn't bother colouring it as it was still so nice and original. Thought it was something worth having.

I have a '74 BB Rochestor sitting here for sale if it would be useful?

I am pretty sure I ran a BBC Quadrajet in the late 1990's - it was to date the only Chev application code front inlet Quadrajet I had seen.
I am pretty sure I gave it away... lol.

I don't know enough about Chev Quadrajets to know what components were shared across different engines/platforms.

Thanks for the offer though.
