1962 Bel Air bubbletop on kijiji NS

One of my favourite bodystyles.  I always thought it was too bad they didn't continue the '61 roof in the Bel Air series thru '64.  Also, a bubbletop '62-'64 Laurentian would have been neat. wink

With a price like this I should offer up my El Camino. $40,000 would do it.

Never seen this car and I live 20 kms away from Wileville. This may no be a real bad price, if there is no bondo in it.

I read this as the price in the ad. IMHO, that car might sell for $40,000, $80,000 would need a 409 4 speed, an original interior, and lots of detail on the quality of the restoration.

I said Laurentian to follow Chevrolet's lead of using the imitation convertible uptop look on their top model, and recycling the '61 hardtop roof for their next model down.  However, to take it further, a bubbletop '64 CS would have been boss, IMHO, as it would have made the "Sport" model look sportier.  However, in the 1960s mindset, it may have just made it look 'dated'.

...and a large disposable income!  biggrin

I'm attempting to refrain about pricing as I'm sure people get tired of me complaining about how ridiculous pricing has become.  $80K is quite over the top for this car IMHO.

Now that we are on price, its a nice car and all but it is priced to reflect a number of things it does not have, such as original drivetrain, 409 and 4 speed.
