I have not owned a vehicle with start/stop but was beside one in a traffic tie up due to road construction. I wont mention a vehicle brand but will say it was a high end import. After that car stopped and started about 15 times in less than twenty minutes the starter wasnt sounding good! I wouldnt want one.

I rented a Jeep Cherokee with the feature ... drove me nuts. It sometimes bogged when I hit the accelerator fast from a full stop. When I brought the car back I mentioned how I felt about the start/stop feature, THEN he told me that I could have turned it off!no

Yup, very annoying feature, but you can turn it off.  On my car when it's on it will start very quickly and effortlessly such that you barely hear the starter engage, but I still don't like it and will turn it off.

Most of these modern features I could use without.

On the 401, in Ontario, they are constantly moving lanes over for construction.

They move the lines and paint the old lines black which wears off quickly.

The lane warning systems go nuts.

The Local Frame plant that makes GM truck frames is going full speed.

Give GM credit, they have found ways to get around the problems.

You'll need a time machine for that.

The features are one thing; the demand its putting on availability of even lower trim lines is crazy!
