Help identifying this brake light switch

I'm trying to identify this brake light switch. I believe it to be from a GM vehicle and it must be newer than 1968. It has a patent number 3408464 on it (no other numbers on it) and that patent was issued in 1968.

1 pair of terminals is closed with the plunger depressed, other pair is open.  When the plunger is released, that sequence exactly reverses on both pairs of terminals. I also believe it came on vehicles with cruise control installed from the factory. That is all the clues I have.

Could also be used for the lock up on the trans, it should be a N/O and N/C switch.

Yup,  i was going to say 1979 montecarlo with cruise.  I have that switch in my wagon and truck for the cruise control.    I think one of them came out of a late 70's GM truck too.

Looks like the one I have for the cruise control setup I'm putting on my 70. It was harvested from a 69.
