Steve Plunketts Pontiacs

I went to the Lions Club Thursday cruise at the Plunkett's estate tonight because the Wasaga Beach Cruisers were in town and
planning to attend. Steve had his own collection buildings open and I got to finally see his Pontiac collection. Unfortunately the weather
was miserable and the cruise night was cancelled, although the Wasaga gang did get there early enough to see Steve's car.

Anyway, below are some pics of just some of his Pontiacs. My favourites are the 65 Bonneville and the 55 Safari.

Never understand why people do that. Better to leave them clear so people can see that theres nothing inside rather then have them broken into and find nothing.

You should, although he won't have these buildings open again. It was a special occasion because the Wasaga Beach Cruisers were in the area, on their yearly multi-day cruise, and had arranged for it ahead of time.

I seem to recall the Safari was his family's car as a kid and he did a full restoration on it.

Scott somehow we missed each other.
I was there with the WBC gang.
Steve gave us a great tour of the under house garage and car salon but as we started for the Cadillac building the rains started. We waited out the worst of it and then he opened the other 2 garages with the Olds, Buick and Pontiacs.
Did get numerous great pics of all the cars especially the 58 Tri-power.

I was there and yeah a beautiful collection. My friend Jay from London Auto Parts gave the Wasaga Crew a box of hats. And the Wasaga crew had some very nice cars also. There were 3 Acadians I recall.

I could be wrong but I believe all the tinted cars were that way when he bought them.

He drives all his cars at least once a year-I had the honour in 2017 with our Chevelle Club to go to Steves place and look at all his cars-not just the million dollar plus Cadillacs- he gave us a private tour -got to go under his mansion where he keeps his vettes and other cars-it was truly amazing I am not a big Cadillac fan but when he showed and told us the history on some of them it was unreal-true car guy!
Keep on Cruising!
Dave

I could certainly go for a wagon like that 69 or 70, make mine a 427 or 454.

Notice the dual line tires ( white and gold ) on the wagon. The same tires are on many in his collection.
