Meeting My Neighbour

Finally got to meet my neighbour with the 67 Beaumont.  His father bought the car new and his son is the 2nd owner.

The interior is amazing with the original, pristine seat.  Needs some mechanical TLC.

Well that's pretty cool.... Did you get him signed up for Canadian Poncho too? Looks to me like a good feature car.

My thoughts exactly Carl.  Still working on him.  Claims complete ignorance of computers but wife helps.  I'll spend more time with him

Those sport sedans are the coolest. (I'm biased) Love to see this as a feature car!

What sort of mechanical work does it need Kim?

Not 100% sure but I think just the usual for a car that hasn't been touched for a long time.  Pretty much goes from winter storage to summer storage.  Doesn't drive it a lot.  Brakes, wiper motor, gas tank sending unit and maybe a few more little things.  Overall, it's a beautiful car.  Was painted a few years ago, new bumpers and a bit of patching.

Sounds as if he needs to sell it quite cheaply to a guy who needs a matching set.

Or bring it to some old guy who loves to do that kind of stuff!

I don't know if this will be motivating but since I have had my 66 4 door hardtop and have done a few small upgrades like an eight track, corvette wheels, a tilt, and rear sway bar it is such a great drivable car that I use it everyday in the summer. It feels like a nice light pair of summer running shoes. (with groovy tunes!)
