my first truck was 65 gmc panel. still have a soft spot for it. wonder why they left the 3rd pedal and put a auto in it.
Lazy or too old to drive 3 pedals. Or too young to drive 3 on the tree?

I could see myself converting it back to three on the tree with a Saginaw trans with synchromesh low gear to make it more pleasant to downshift. I have a soft spot for three on the tree. Back in the day a friend had a 63 Laurentian 283 three speed. It would pull from 8 or 10 miles an hour to just over 90 miles an hour in second! It woke up a lot of muscle car guys!
