My old '65 led into a conversation that brought me to find this tucked away in a garage. Finally talked owner into letting it go. Very minor dings in it, but otherwise immaculate.
And.....would you consider writing a story and submitting it to the site admin (Todd) so he could feature it at the top of the page for a month sometime?

The purple one is yes, I need to update the pictures with the interior back in it.
This sat for 7 years, at least. Pulled it out, replaced the points, and it fired up, and drives perfect. The interior is mint, the seats came out spotless with a light cleaning. The driver side sun visor is missing the end piece to clip it into place, the clock doesn't always work, and a small bit of fabric is coming loose at the top of the right rear pillar. When the person who told me about this car mentioned it, I assumed he was exaggerating, but when I finally went to see it, I fell in love with it. All the dings on the outside are easy fixes. Had it appraised, and all it had against it was an old rad, previous repairs on the fenders and oil leaks.
I need a left headlight bezel, it's broken. But the chrome is pretty much mint all over. It looks like this thing has never seen a winter, and barely seen rain. Well, Until I got it. I can't stop driving it. Even in the rain, I just don't want to put it away yet.
On a side note, the gentleman who was storing this thing had some real nice cars tucked away. He had told me about all these cars he owned, and being in this industry I hear these stories all the time, but they are rarely ever true. But I had to see this Pontiac, so I took a chance, and went to his shop. He has this one being stored for someone else, but he had 3 1967-8 Beaumonts, 67ish olds 442, 67 Corvette 427 stingray, 69 dart, early 60's gmc truck, and a rare late 70's trans-am. Wasn't a true "barn find", because he knew what his cars were worth, but man was it ever neat seeing these things sitting there. They were just his toys, no interest in sellling them.
